Buying A Gaming Laptop?
  While buying any laptop, 3D or otherwise, can 
  be a harrowing experience for most sane people;  
  buying a gaming laptop can be downright scary. 
  Especially if you're not tech savvy and/or don't 
  have tons of money to throw away on a new rig. 

  And while prices are going down, gaming laptops 
  are still expensive, so it may be helpful to check 
  some essential features all great gaming laptops 
  must have in order to play video games.

              When buying a 3D monitor or TV you have to look for products with 
              a 120Hz refresh rate in order to get the best results. Often referred 
              to as "3D-ready" products which may have to be combined or Synced up 
              with a 3D Blu-ray Player or use something like the NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit, 
              which consists of 3D Glasess and advanced Graphics Software.

              8ms, 5ms or 2ms?

              Another feature that confuses many monitor buyers is response time - 
              how long it takes for the pixels to go to black and white and black 
              again? While some argue that the human eye can only differentiate 
              movement at around 6ms - anything lower would be pointless.

              Just remember, 8 MS response time means it will take 8 milliseconds 
              for an image to be replaced with another image. In older LCD screens you
              could have 18ms or even 20ms, which would means as each image is replaced 
              there is blurring or ghosting especially in fast motion images - not very
              good for gaming.

              However, many high-end monitors now go to 5ms, 3ms and even 2ms. 
              Rule to follow: monitors prices are falling greatly, if the price difference 
              is only $25 or $50 - go with the lower 5ms or 2ms. 

              In the last CES Consumer Electronics Show the biggest splash
              was made by new 3D monitors like the Samsung 2233RZ and 
              the Viewsonic VX2265wm. While most 3D monitors require special
              polarized glasses to view the images, some manufacturers 
              (mainly Phillips) are even attempting new monitors which don't 
              need glasses to view 3D images.

              It seems more and more likely, 3D Technology will not be just 
              another passing fad. 3D monitors and TVs are probably the wave 
              of the future in home entertainment and computer gaming.
